Come experience culture in the heart of Downtown Springfield's Art District!
Located in the Downtown Art District of Springfield, the First Friday Art Walk attracts hundreds of people on the first Friday of every month! Spectators are treated to a variety of beautiful, inspiring and creative art galleries, demonstrations, music and so much more.
What started as a grassroots event by downtown's art galleries has become a community favorite offering art enthusiast a taste of sculpture, historic murals, art by students, documentary photography, paintings, fine art, pottery, and of course, good food!
It even goes beyond visual and taste buds as several different events offer live music and competitions with prizes. Several area restaurants and stores participate in sponsoring the First Friday Art Walk and host events and specials of their own, bringing live entertainment and artists displays to their venues!
